Editorial
Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of this site (the "Site"). By visiting or using the Site you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short, plain, and free of the lawyerly maze that most Terms pages bury readers under. If anything is unclear, write to hello@example.com.

1. What this site is

This Site is an independent, editor-curated archive — published by us, written by the contributing experts listed on our Our Experts page. It exists to make thoughtful writing about love, dating, marriage, intimacy, and the long middle stretch of partnership easier to find, read, and search. It is not a syndication of any other publisher, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or financially connected to any third-party source beyond the standard practice of citation and link-back to research.

2. What you may do

You may read, search, share, and link to articles on the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may quote brief excerpts (a paragraph or two) with clear attribution and a link back to the original article. You may submit corrections, byline fixes, and takedown requests through the Contact page, and we will respond.

3. What you may not do

You may not scrape the Site at automated scale, republish full articles on another site, pass off the writing as your own, or use the content for commercial purposes without written permission from the original rights holder. You may not attempt to disrupt the Site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or circumvent any access restriction. You may not use the Site to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person named on the Site.

4. Ownership and attribution

Every article on the Site is the work of its named contributing expert. The Site preserves bylines and publication dates so credit is unambiguous. If you believe content on the Site belongs to you and you would like it removed, see Section 9 (Takedowns).

5. No professional advice

The articles on this Site cover topics in life, intimacy, and mental well-being. They are written for general information and for the experience of reading a thoughtful column. They are not a substitute for licensed clinical care, legal counsel, or therapy. If something you read here prompts a real-world decision, please consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction. We do not warrant that any opinion on the Site applies to your situation.

6. Third-party advertising

The Site uses Google AdSense to serve ads. By using the Site, you acknowledge that ad networks may set cookies or read identifiers on your device to deliver and measure ads. See our Privacy Policy for details and opt-out links.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do our best to keep the Site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or that the content will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its operator disclaim all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site.

8. Changes to the Site

We may add, remove, or modify articles, features, and pages at any time. We may also revise these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.

9. Takedowns

If you are a rights holder and would like a piece removed, or you are a named person who would like a specific reference redacted, please email hello@example.com with a link and a brief explanation. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 7 days.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in that jurisdiction.

11. Contact
